Hi, I’m Jake. I’m currently in my third year of Mechanical Engineering and excited to be a part of Lads this year as Pack Lead for the Ugly Boys. I got involved in Lads Without Labels since it’s an awesome opportunity to help out in the mental health space. I believe health and fitness are great ways to help with mental health, not just the benefits of the activity itself, but also a great way to connect with people and talk about anything in a safe team environment.

I’m originally from Palmy (Palmerston North), but moved down to Christchurch a couple of years back since it looked like an awesome city with heaps to do. Outside of uni, I'm a keen cyclist and runner, having competed at a national level for cycling. But now I enjoy going out for a ride with mates as it's a great way to catch up.

I’m looking forward to Ugly Boy’s this year and hope to see many of you there.
