Kia ora e te whānau! I’m Meg, and I’m in my final year (finally) of my Law (Hons) and Commerce degree. In 2026, I’m super excited to be stepping into the role of Events Manager!

I originally joined Lads because I never want anyone to feel alone. I’m all about creating safe, genuine spaces where every lad feels supported and connected. I’ve seen too many of my mates struggle to speak up or feel safe seeking help, and I’m passionate about helping to break that stigma.

I grew up in Wānaka, so the mountains are definitely my happy place — when I’m not in the library, you’ll can find me skiing at Cardrona or Mt Hutt, or out in nature reconnecting with papatūānuku (yes, Hagley Park counts as nature). I LOVE a good yarn, meeting new people, getting lost in new countries, iced coffees, and spending time with my friends and whānau.

Can’t wait to meet everyone this year and put on some epic events!!!
