Party Waves is back for the second time this year, in collaboration with Cuba. Join us at 7am Saturday 14th October for a sunrise swim/surf at New Brighton Pier. Mix and mingle with new people, refresh yourself with a morning dip and have a wholesome morning.
Party Waves for Mental Health is an initiative between Lads Without Labels and CUBA aiming to encourage healthy strategies for better mental wellbeing through reconnecting with the ocean and the outdoors.
When we are younger we often spend a lot more of our time outside and enjoying the ocean, but life often gets in the way, especially at University and we lose touch of the benefits that the moana brings to our well-being. Party Waves offers a perfect space to do just this, whilst providing a safe and wholesome morning to socialise, chill and meet people.
So even if you don’t surf, come on down, catch the sunrise, play some volleyball, refresh your wairua and have a yarn with the team.
