Kia ora, my name is Sophie. I am in my fourth year of study at UC completing my Bachelor of Science Honours year majoring in Psychology. My education goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist.

This is my first year working with Lads and I am so excited to be a part of a club with such strong values. My role within Lads is Research Relations. This role is broad but some responsibilities include researching for Lads' initiatives and monitoring the use of the Benestar counselling service.

My drive to work in the mental health space as a Psychologist in the future and with lads currently is largely because of a dream to destigmatize mental health. Specifically, to live in a society where people feel comfortable talking about mental illness and therefore, more people can gain support.
