Heya! My name is Stanley Yip and I will be stepping into the role of Flat Chat lead for Lads without Labels in 2024.

I am from Pukekohe, Auckland and am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering with honours specialising in Mechatronics. Outside of University, I love to get outdoors and do a bit of everything from tramping to snowboarding or just going out for a swim. This will be my 3rd year of study and my first year being a part of the Lads Exec.

I'm excited for this new role where I hope to make a positive impact on mental health for those in our community here at Canterbury by starting up chill conversations around the topic. I believe in the power of normal conversations to break down barriers and just hope to create a supportive environment for everyone to be able to speak freely about their own challenges.
