And that's a wrap…..

72 hours

18,036 Laps Run

$36,000 raised & counting

240 hours of counselling support for students

Our biggest Run72 yet. You legends went above and beyond, nearly doubling last year's lap record of 9,028 laps, with a total 18,036 laps- equivalent to 32,464km!

Over 72 hours we raised $36,000. Hitting this fundraising total means Lads will be able to provide 240 hours of professional counselling sessions for free to UC students through our Counselling Initiative. Whether you walked a lap, ran 100km, or cheered from the sidelines, your support and mahi has made an immense impact. We are beyond grateful for you showing up and supporting Lads, each and every one of you is why change is possible

A massive thank you to our RUN72 sponsors, the event would not be possible without your support; Strategy Creative for their massive effort in helping us design the whole Run72 campaign along with putting in some individual miles. Carlos Garcia Knight for the video visuals and Dark Knight productions for the production gear. Arepa for energising and refreshing our runners brain power throughout the 72 hours. New Balance for kitting us out. Barfoot Thompson for their generous financial contribution, enabling us to run this event for the third year in a row. The Transfer Co for the visual signage, GoMedia & 0800 phantom billboards and Media Works NZ for helping us spread the campaign. CookieTime NZ, Lewis Road Creamery and Pure Sports Nutrition for supporting us and keeping the runners fueled. Shout out to UCRec & Sport and Lane Recovery and Wellness for the runner recovery stations, helping to limit injury and keep runners on the track.

Our Give A Little will remain open until the 30th of September - any support is appreciated!

Lastly another massive thank you to all of you, ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini

Ngā manaakitanga,

The Lads team
